Record of events: One litter bearer (Pvt Riggs) LWA near Langlire, Belgium, 1845, 14 Jan 45. At 0505 this data a call came for an additional 13 litter bearers for the 1st Bn Aid Station in anticipation of an attack. The attack however was called off and these along with all of the litter bearers from 2d and 3d Bn Aid Stations were called back to the Co. 14 EM are now serving with 1st Bn Aid Station, with 6 of these being used as Co Aid men within the 1st Bn. The remaining 8 are still being used as litter bearers in support of the Bn Aid Station.
