Record of events: At 2247, 27 Feb 45, this Co moved by motor convoy with 3d Bn, 331 Inf to Ameln, wF0865, Germany, arriving there at 0040 28 Feb 45. Entire movement made in complete blackout. Co had to look for a long time for billets as all bldgs were comppletely demolished and many of the available basements were occupied by other troops. One ambulance is now being used to evacuate the 3d Bn which is spearheading the attack by riding tanks with the town of Greuenbroich as their objective. Co moved half of Station to wF0971, Jackerath, Germany 1345. Collection Station set up and we are now evacuating the 3d Bn, through Collection to Clearing of the 2d Armd Div. Progress on front good. Morale: High. 2d half of Collection Station moved up with 1st Station in Jackerath at 1500.
