Record of events: Company patrolling and observing over the Moselle river. This morning at about 0700 an enemy patrol of five men approached our 3rd Platoon out post. Our Platoon fired on them killing two and perhaps wounding others. Also captured 2 rifles. 1 bazooka and 1 LMG. Morale: Excellent
