Station: Les Champs-de-Losque, Remilly-sur-Lozon, France1, vT3967111
Record of events: Moved from Reserve Position and relieved Co B 60th Inf 90th Div in defence position. Received heavy volume of 88mm fire also small arms and automatics weapons fire. Remained in defensive position until 1110. Were straffed and bombed erroneously by our own supporting planes. Jumped off in the attack at 1130. Were met by heavy automatic and small arms and mortar fire from all directions. Progress slowly for 600 yards. Were held up by automatic fire from our front flanks. Artillery consentration fell short and hit our lines inflicting casualties. Resume the attack across an open swamp with no units on our right and left. Advanced across swamps and were pinned down on far side. Dug in and remained in defense position. Co A moved in on our right.
