Record of events: As of 17 Apr 45 - Company moved out separate from Bn with E & G companies on right and 1st Bn on left. Met no resistance but progress was slow due to both flanks being held up. First enemy artillery. Morale low. 18 Apr 45 - Company moved out at 0930 and contacted enemy at about 1300. Received heavy small arms fire with a few panzerfausts and mortars. Ran into tank at 1800 and held up for night. No dinner. Morale low.
