Record of events: Mine plt ordered to remove enemy mine field in Gey at 1900, 10 Dec 44. Pfc Wojtas was wounded by enemy artillery and Evac. Pfc Buckles and Pvt Dalton were also wounded but remained to dy. Third Plt was alerted to move in support of 3rd Bn at 1100, 11 Dec 44. Time to move to be announced. Co CP shelled heavily between hours of 1900, 10 Dec 44 and 0730, 11 Dec 44. Enemy planes very active in this vicinity.
