Record of events: 2nd Plt wrecked while moving from Le Tombois. Wreck caused by Squad truck trying to avoid hitting maintenance truck parked on icy road. Truck skidded into maintenance truck, one gun smashed. T/4 Smith (atchd Med) and Pfc Traficanto received fractured left legs. Pfc Banasik, Iorio and Pvt Walder were shaken up and brused but remaind to duty Accident happened 1635 29 Dec 44. Plt continued to 2nd Bn assembly area. and stayed over night 30 Dec 4 the plt set up the 2 remaining guns in Soy. 3rd plt set up position in the town of Ny. 1st Plt set up position in Fisenne. Position set up by gun positions were ordered by Bns.
