Record of events: Relieved Co. C 34th Tank Bn of the 5th Armored Div. in Kufferath, Germany. Town under heavy shelling and a few snipers as we moved in. Occupied and outposted town at night. Sent patrol on recon of forward strong points and manned same. Captured two wounded Jerries and took to aid station. Today searched town for snipers, captured three civilians and two Jerry soldiers. Total prisoners, seven. Jerry shelled town rather regularly. We put in extra loads of munitions and rations for emergency.
