Morning report C/331 for March 2, 1945

Station: Büttgen, Germany1, wF2189
Record of events: In the attack on Buttgen and vicinity, company captured 35 prisoners, several pieces of ordnance including field pieces, anti-aircraft, machine guns and trucks. Suffered no casualties. The third platoon manned one road block and bridge head over the Nord Canal. Balance of company with one platoon of A Co. and one platoon of T.D.'s moved out to assist in repulse of counterattack against third bn at Hemmerden. Men paid last night, had hot meal and well earned rest after approximately nine thousand yard gain of a 36 hour period. Weather, clear with snow flurries.
