Record of events: 12 Apr 45 Co was quickly reorganized in the morning and moved out riding on TD's and trucks. Contacting B Co. at Langenstein, the 2 companies moved towards Bornecke by seperate routes, just north of town, we cleared a narrow pass of mines and snipers. Then, with the pltns on the line and supported by TD fire, Co entered town across open fields using marching fire. Town was cleaned to where we met B Co. Took about 30 prisoners including 3 officers, suffering no casualties ourselves. Co immediately reorganized and moved to the next town. Westerhausen.
