Record of events:
Bn attacked new objective in vicinity of la Vieille Taille, Belgium. Jumped off at 1300 Co F led the initial assault followed by Co's E and G. Co F reached innitial objective and Co E by passed to the right followed by Co G operations proceeding as planned. Resistance stiff and enemy mortar and arty fire was intense and intermittent through out the day. Weather: cold and clear with ground covered with frosty snow. Morale Good. Rear CP moved via motor at 0830 a distance of 2 miles to position of former Bn Aid Station in Ottre, Belgium. Completed movement at 0850. Rear CP receives intermittent shelling during day. No damage or casualties.
