Co E cleared Reuschenburg and Gkilinghausenbrucke and continued attack to the NW, F and G Co's took off from Holzheim at 0130 and advanced to Neuschenburg. F Co posted security but sent 1 plt with Co G in the attack on Neuss supported by tanks. Co G also captured and cleared town of Nixhutte. Moed into Neuss at 1200 meeting some Resistance and amidst steady steady arty fire. Captured 483 known prisoners. Bn rear CP spent night in Holzheim and moved up to Neuschenburg at 1100. CLosed out this CP at 1700 and opened new CP at Neuss at 1730. Weather cold light snow. Morale Good.
