Record of events: On 27 Apr 45 Lt Smith left us and went to Co "B" as pltn ldr. In return they sent us Lt Schwadron, who joined us as Executive O. On Apr 45 during late evening and night, a few flares were set off in front of our position, however no enemy activity was rpt. During morning of this day some of the men went to a movie entitled "Babes on Broadway". This was also package-mailing day. It seems that an awful lot of us have an awful lot of souveniours. On 2 May 45, sent 1st Pltn on Combat Patrol into Steckby, captured 9 and cleared area to south and east of town.
