Record of events: Battalion rear CP moved forward via motor and foot at 1335, 10 Dec 44. Opened new CP in old Bn aid station at above coordinates, distance traveled 1/2 mile. Bn continued its attack at daylight after consolidation their hard won positions on the outskirts of Gey, Germany by darkness of the 10th, systematically pushing the enemy back in house to house conflict. Battalion mission will be completed when town is completely cleared of enemy.
