Record of events: As of 26 Dec 1944 Bn moved via motor from 1 Mile SE of Aachen to Havelange, Belgium, a distance of 85 miles. Closed out old CP at 1540 crossed IPat 1600 and opened new CP 2130. Very cold but clear. Morale good. Battalion now in 7th Corps reserve and back in 1st Army. As of 27 Dec 1944. Battalion units moved into assigned positions. CP closed at 1630 new CP opened at 1637. Weather cold and clear. Morale good.
