Record of events: As of 4 Apr 45 Closed old CP in Oesterboltz, Germany at 1425 moved via motor 4 miles to Kohlstadt, opened new CP at 1500. Co's still advancing to clean out Horn, Germany. Weather cold and skies overcast. As of 5 Apr 45 Station: Horn, Germany Coord RB 8364. Bn elements have cleared Horn, Germany and rear CP moves up. Closed old CP at 0800 moved via motor to Horn, Germany distance 3 miles through thick woods and hilly terrain. Opened new CP at 0900. Co E atchd to task for "Ritchie" which continues to push forward to cross the Wesser River. Bn now in group reserve at moment, Co F still atchd to 113th Cavalry squadron, part of Co with "A" troup and part with "B" troup. Their mission is to clear the mountain ranges to the south towards Buke an Altenbruch. Co H lending support Plts to all 3 line Co's. Weather Cold and clear. Closed out old CP in Horn, Germany at 1925 and moved via moto a distance of 14 miles. Opened New CP in Bredenborn, Germany at 2100. Morale Good. Bn still in the attack with 3 line Co's as seperate parts of 3 task forces. Co F still supporting the 113th Cavalry (T.F. "Hulse") Co G with (T.F. "Ritchie") and Co E with (T.F. "Kleitz"). All spearheading meeting very light opposition only light casualties. Weather Cold and damp, overcast, as of 6 Apr 45.
