As of 7 Apr 45 closed old CP in Bredenborn, Germany at 1100 and moved via motor a distance of 30 miles to town of Heyen, Germany. Arrived and opened new CP at 1430. Crossed Wesel River via treadway pontoon bridge at 1400. trip through rolling hilly country very xxxnie and undamaged. Weather bright, cool and clear.
As of 7 Apr 45 closed old CP in Heyen, Germany and moved via motor a distance of 3 1/2 miles to town of Washershausen, Germany. Began at 1815, arrived 2115. Weather cool and clear. Very little enemy activity encountered. Morale Good.
As of 8 Apr 45 awaiting orders to move to new area at 1400. Closed old CP in Washershausen, Germany at 1415 and moved via motor 14 miles to Gr. Freden, Germany. Opened new CP at 1615. Weather clear and cool. 3 Hot meals served. Took 1 Maj Gen and aide prisoner at 2100.
As of 9 Apr 45. Bn in the attack. Hqs Co and Co H outposting town of Gr. Freden, Germany and guarding vital Bridge across th Leine River. Co H cleared the towns of Eyershausen, Ohlenrede, and Gedrenrade by 1745 8 Apr 45. Now outposting the 1st and last mentioned. Co F still detached from Bn and with T.F. "Hulge". Co G assisting Bn in the attack. Weather clear and cool. 3 hot meals served. Morale Good.
