Morning report L/331 for January 12, 1945

Station: Ottré, Belgium1, vP6485
Record of events: 10 January 1945 Co jumped off in attack at 0700 hrs. Casualties were Heavy. Capt Dye wounded and evacuated at 1030 hrs. Capt Windsor was assigned as CO and took command by 1115 hrs. Ground was rained but enemy fire was very heavy. 11 January 1945 Co I and Co K are to push off into an attack tonite which will drop Co L into reserve. The Co's positions are still under heavy enemy fire from artillery, mortars, tanks and machine guns. Hope to send a few men ad a time to change into clean, dry clothes and check feet.
