Inf atkd at 0800 without arty preparation fires. Bn supported by fires of assault guns of 32d Cav and by fires of 3rd Plat, Co C, 774th Tk Bn, and Co B, 802d TD Bn. Targets in area of Hill and both sides of Moselle River under constant fires of our arty throughout the day. Hill still in possession of enemy at close of report.
