Bn reinforced by 324th FA Bn in direct support of 331st Inf in VII Corps, I Army Sector in attack on Gey, Germany. Town in our hands but still occupied by small pockets of resistence. 3rd Bn 331st Inf mopping up. No enemy arty fire in area during period. Enemy air activity over area at 1607 to 1651, no bombs dropped. Weather: Partly cloudy, cool, light rainfall during night. Health of Command: Good. Troops improving log shelters for added comfort. Morale: Excellent. Casualties: Tec4 Redden, Btry C, LWA on 10 Dec 44 near Gey, Germany. Entitled to oak leaf cluster (2nd wound)
