Record of events: Bn reld fr general support of 3rd Armored Div & asgd to direct support of 331st Inf in VII Corps, First Army, Twenty-first Army Group sector. Mission to clear woods of Bois de Ronce and Bois Dit St Pierre-Hez to permit armor to advance. Bn displaced fr positions vicinity of Tri-le-Cheslaing at 1350 hours arrived new position area vicinity of Jevigne at 1900 hours. Roads: Covered with ice & snow, slippery. Distance traveled 5.4 miles. Weather: Cloudy. Light snowfall early afternoon changing to heavy snowfall approximately 1800. Very cold. Morale: Excellent. Health of Command: Good. Casualties: None.
