Bn in direct support of 331st Inf in VII Corps, First Army, XXIst Army Grp sector in attack on Ronce River Line. No advance during period due to intense mortar, machine gun, tank and arty fire. Btry A lost one 610 SCR set due to enemy shell fire in fwd area. Weather: Partly cloudy and cold. Health of Command: Good. Number of common colds in command rapidly diminishing due to preventive action by Bn Surg. Morale: Excellent. Casualties: 1st Lt James R Sanders, O-1175568, FA SWA (Evacuated).
