Record of events:
Bn in direct support of 331st Inf in VII Corps, First Army, XXI Army Group sector. 331st Inf supporting attack of 3rd Armored Div on Bois de Ronce and to the south. Inf to clear woods preparatory to attack by armor. No enemy air activity over area during period. No enemy counter-btry fire in area. Bn usual harassing fires throughout night on roads and crossroads enemy is using in his retreat. Weather: Clear and cold. Morale: Excellent. Health of Command: Good. Casualties: Pfc Albion C Sinnett, Btry C, ASN 31217713, awarded Purple Heart No 908-20 for wounds received in action by flak 14 Jan 45. LWA - non-evacuated.
