Record of events:
Bn jumped off against the town of Gey, Germany at 0630. Combat Patrol of Fox Company (Lt Lancaster) entered town first and had his objective by 0700. E Company spearheaded the attack supported closely by F Co. Two Co's in town and pushing on for high ground beyond by 0900. Resistance strong and many light casualties resulted.
