Record of events: 9 Apr 45 Co rested and moved into position close to the bridge across the river at Polle, so we could guard it during the nite. 10 Apr 45 Crossed up the Weaser River, riding tanks to Golmbach. Rested personnel got haircuts and washed themselves. 11 Apr 45 moved out at dark on trucks. Because of dusty roads and mechanical failure, convoy was widely dispersed by morning.
